GENERAL BAMBOO WATCH INFORMATION
Battery Life: The battery in our Cariloha watches should last approximately two years. When the battery expires, replace it as soon as possible to prevent any malfunction. For battery replacement, we recommend that you take your watch to an authorized time piece professional. Battery type is found on the caseback of each watch.
Water Resistance
• Before using your watch in or near water, be sure that the crown is pushed in completely.
• If the watch is underwater or wet, do not use the pushers, rotating bezels or crowns.
• If the watch becomes wet, wipe it dry as soon as possible.
• If watch comes in contact with salt water, rinse case and bracelet thoroughly.
• Do not take your watch into a hot tub or sauna. Extreme heat and pressure may cause your watch to lose its water resistance.
• Water resistance is not permanent. In the course of time, as your case becomes worn, the water resistance of the watch may decrease.
Biodegradable Corn Resin
Corn Resin comes from a renewable resource and is bio-based, therefore it uses no oil resources in production. In a compost environment, corn resin is 99% biodegradable to carbon dioxide and water within 365 days.
Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low impact on the environment and is grown without the use of toxic pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
Recycled Fibers
Sprout® packaging is made from at least 80% post-consumer fibers. It is both recycled and recyclable.
Natural Bamboo
Bamboo is considered one of world’s most sustainable resources.
Tyvek® by Dupont™
Dupont Tyvek® is water resistant, tear resistant and 100% recyclable. It can be safely incinerated or landfilled. Because it is chemically inert and contains no binders, Tyvek will not leach into groundwater.
Mercury Free Battery
Mercury is actually a neurotoxin, which is harmful to both animals and humans. Sprout® watches use only Mercury Free batteries.
